des Eaux-Vives (D 29).

A voir :
La forêt des bains jaunes, que traverse cette trace, est un lieu de refuge pour le Pic noir de la Guadeloupe, aussi appelé "Tapeur" en raison du bruit qu'il fait en tappant sur les troncs avec son bec. Cet oiseau ne se rencontre qu'en Guadeloupe.

To see:
The forest of the yellow baths, that crosses this trace, is a place of refuge for the black Peak of the Guadeloupe, as called " Tapper
" because of the noise as it makes while tappant on the trunks with its nozzle. This bird meets only in Guadeloupe.

A voir :
Très joli parcours le long du Canal Pelletier au début de la trace. Traversée de la rivière Noire où le bain est possible. Au sommet, vue exceptionnelle sur tout le massif.

To see:
Very pretty course along the Channel Furrier at the beginning of the trace. Crossed Black river where the bath is possible. At the node, exceptional sight on all the solid mass.

L'itinéraire emprunte d'abord le chemin des dames. Après l'Eboulement Faujas, l'ascension se poursuit vers la partie sommitale à partir de la Grande Faille. Suivre les balises pour découvrir les principaux sites dont le point culminant (1467 m), et surtout l'impres-sionant Cratère du Sud en activité. De retour à la Grande Faille, le tour complet du dôme est possible par le col de l'Echelle

from the Great Fault. To follow the beacons to discover the principal
